Program Cost: $4,015, including tuition and transcript from the University of Pretoria (8 credit hours), course materials, accommodation, all meals, camping equipment and fees, park permit and entry fees, group activities, airport transfers, and all in-country travel.

Eligibility:The AUIP South African Vets in the Wild program is open to veterinary and pre-veterinary students and others interested in veterinary science who are currently enrolled at a recognized tertiary educational institution, as well as qualified professionals.

Program Courses and Credits: Participants will enroll in two courses for a total of 8 credits in Ecosystems Management and People and Nature Conservation. Transcripts will be issued from the University of Pretoria to your university upon completion of the program.

Program Description: Students meet with and learn from pioneers in game capture and those actively involved in the field of wildlife veterinary science on a day-to-day basis. The program includes a Capture and Care Course where students participate in actual game capture operations.
