Students will receive 6 credit hours from one of the institutions listed below. We encourage students from all majors to apply, as we take an interdisciplinary perspective to examine global issues in the conservation of unique wildlife, natural systems, and cultural places.
Below is a list of the institutions that offer credit for this program, along with the tuition and administrative costs and course prefixes. Please note that North Carolina State University only accepts applications from students enrolled at North Carolina State University. The remaining institutions accept students from any university in the US.

North Carolina State University: $1,480 (2007) for 6 semester credits in PRT 491M: Sustaining Human Societies and the Natural Environment (only open to students enrolled at NCSU)
University of Florida: TBA for 6 semester credits in LEI 4955 or 6931 (Sustaining Human Societies and the Natural Environment) May 21 - June 15, 2008
Penn State University: $2,100 (2007) for 6 semester credits in RPTM 497A (International Field Studies on Tourism, Society and the Environment)
June 13 - July 8, 2008
Oregon State University: $1,361 for 9 quarter credits (~6 semester credits) in INTL 499 (Sustaining Human Societies and the Natural Environment)
(Note: All students enrolling as non-degree students at OSU for the purposes of this program will need to pay a $25 admission fee to OSU prior to participation.)
Virginia Tech: $1,400 (2007) for 6 semester credits in NR 3954 or 5954 (Sustaining Human Societies and the Natural Environment)
