BiographyJulie is a native New Zealander who completed her Bachelor of Arts in
English and Graduate Diploma in Management at the University of Canterbury.
Julie has worked in international education for the past ten years and is a
keen traveller having lived in Japan and the United Kingdom. Julie arranges
logistics for the in-country programs and assists with the marketing of AUIP.
Personal Information
Favorite travel destination: Visiting the Roman ruins at Ephesus in Turkey and snorkelling with
stingrays and sharks in Tahiti.
Favorite program activity: Visiting the largest sand island in the world Fraser Island, off the
coast of Queensland, Australia.
Top travel tip: Always take the details of your country’s local Consulate or Embassy
when you travel- you never know when you might need them!
Favorite outdoor activity: Boating, especially on a summer’s day on Lyttelton Harbour near Christchurch.
